About

Somewhere or other, I heard about a small, private liberal arts college in Michigan that refuses to take federal money and everything that came with it, has a great faculty, great students and took its work seriously. Once I had read Hillsdale’s honor code and the school’s statement of purpose, I just fell in love with it. Hillsdale removes many institutional and ideological barriers to the serious study of politics and political philosophy, but preserves the rigor and institutional structures necessary for this kind of study to progress and flourish.
