“I was drawn to Hillsdale because of its strong focus on the principles and foundation of the American regime, knowledge of which I believe to be indispensable for understanding natural human rights and the further development of knowledge on the subject, as it pertains to the present. America is the great stage upon which the theory of natural human rights is acted out for the first time.”

~ Phillip Gay

Phillip Gay was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, as the eighth child of thirteen. At age 14, he attended Gregory the Great Academy, an all-boys, Catholic boarding school outside of Scranton, PA, where he lived for the duration of his high-school years. After graduating, he attended Ave Maria University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in the Humanities and Liberal Arts.
