John Scheck grew up in Ave Maria, Florida, and during high school discovered an interest in politics. After graduating, he took a gap year with a religious order in Mexico where he developed a deep love for realistic human philosophy, as called for by St. Pope John Paul II’s encyclical Fides et Ratio. Inspired by this experience, he graduated from Ave Maria University with a B.A. in Philosophy and Communications. Attending Hillsdale’s Graduate School of Statesmanship was the perfect opportunity to continue his studies of Political Philosophy in the classical tradition.
